This working day on a sheep and horse farm is open to the public and begins around 9 a.m. when Clinton Bell, Master Shearer, arrives to shear my small, rare and primitive Shetland sheep and Merino, Romney and crossbred sheep. He's usually finished shearing around 1:00 p.m. but the day goes until 5:00 p.m.

Cove Community folks will sell hot food and drink to benefit educational programs throughout the year.
Directions are on the Thistle Cove Farm website; please call first to make sure the event hasn't been cancelled due to weather or shearer emergency.
